In this course, you will use vendor and EMC tools to practice SAN management activities. You will manage the Connectrix family of switches to provide connectivity to host and storage through a SAN. You will learn to administer SAN switches through their CLI and GUI management tools for configuration in a multi-switch fabric and enable communication between the hosts and storage. You will cover Fibre Channel, FCiP, and iSCSI environments for management and switch configuration along with NPIV and NPV. The concepts of EMC SAN best practices, performance monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and security are also addressed.
